COVID-19 PRACTICE UPDATES

OFFICE RE-OPENING INFORMATION AND SAFETY PROTOCOL

Our practitioners are committed to creating a safe environment for our clients as well as ourselves.

  We have embraced the following standards of confidence as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic:


  • Keeping the well-being of our practitioners and clients as our top priority
  • Offering personal protective equipment as required by law to protect practitioners and clients
  • Mindful and visible handwashing (both practitioners and clients)
  • Practicing physical distancing in non-treatment spaces
  • Staying home when ill (both practitioners and clients)
  • Verbal and visual greetings without touch
  • Visible and transparent promotion of sanitation and hygiene efforts
  • Given the stress of the current situation, we are committed to providing you with a space to relax and invest in your overall health and well-being under this new set of social norms that have been placed upon us.


Arrival


  1. If you are sick or showing symptoms, please don’t come in. If practitioners are showing symptoms, we will contact you to not come in. We can reschedule for 14 days later, or when appropriate. 
  2. Please wear a mask. Our practitioners will also wear a mask. This makes exposure from breathing out less likely. 
  3. When you arrive, park and let us know by text or call to: (407) 917-7099. We will open the doors for you, so you don’t have to touch the door handle.
  4. All surfaces that practitioners and clients may touch will be cleaned between each session.
  5. Practitioners will thoroughly wash hands using the 20-second protocol before greeting you.
  6. Upon entering the office, please use the hand sanitizer provided.  
  7. We will check your temperature. Your practitioner will have their temperature taken prior to the appointment. If either person has a temperature above 100.1 or greater, the appointment will be rescheduled.


Before Session


  1. You may use the restroom. It will be cleaned after each person uses it, including all handles, surfaces, and the faucet.
  2. You will have the usual pre-session conversation with your practitioner to find out how you have been and to set the goals for the session. Please note that your practitioner may wear gloves.
  3. When it is time to get on the table, your practitioner will leave the room as usual to let you get ready in privacy. PLEASE PLACE YOUR SHOES, CLOTHES AND ALL OTHER BELONGINGS IN THE PLASTIC BIN AND CLOSE THE LID. This will be thoroughly cleaned, disinfected and sanitized between each client.
  4. The practitioner will thoroughly wash their hands before entry and will then use hand sanitizer to disinfect their hands upon re-entering the room to start work.
  5. The session will proceed as usual, except that both the practitioner and you will be wearing masks. When you are face-down on the table, you may remove your mask since you’ll be breathing straight down to the floor. If you choose to remove your mask, place your mask into the plastic bag provided and carefully close it. Your practitioner will keep a mask on the whole time. There are HEPA air cleaners in each room.  


After Session


  1. Upon completion of the session, the practitioner and client will apply hand sanitizer before touching the door handle to leave the room. 
  2. We will use the credit card system already in place at the front desk. It will be cleaned after every use. Cash and checks will still be accepted.  

  • After you depart, we will clean, disinfect, and sanitize the treatment room and all other areas you and the practitioner have touched. 

NEW APPOINTMENT / BOOKING INFORMATION

Due to COVID-19, we are temporarily limiting the number of daily appointments. The health and safety of our clients and practitioners is very important to us. For this reason, walk-in appointments will not be accepted and clients who are not currently receiving a service will be asked to step out in order to control the number of people within the office. If you are experiencing a fever, cough, or sore throat, please reschedule your appointment for when you are no longer symptomatic. If you have been to a COVID-19-impacted area or have been in close contact with a person infected with COVID-19, we ask that you please reschedule your appointment for 14 days past the date of contact.

NEW CANCELLATION POLICY

Amid the ongoing uncertainty of COVID-19, we have modified our cancellation policy to offer greater flexibility to all our clients. We hope this will alleviate any stress and hesitation you have about an upcoming appointment. If you need to reschedule for whatever reason, and especially if you are not feeling well, we understand and request for you to please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. To further support you, there will be no penalties for cancellation.
